LEGO’s traditional dominance of the toy brick building world is under assault from competitors looking to cash-in on the lucrative toy brick market.
Mega blocs movie#
If there is more than 12 in this set I don’t know but these are just what I found so figured it could help out those other minion lovers out there like my wife lol. With the huge popularity of last year’s LEGO movie and record breaking profits-LEGO has now eclipsed Mattel as the world’s largest toy company-you might think that there are few threats to LEGO and its IP on the horizon and that “Everything Is Awesome” for the toy maker.īut a trip through the aisles in your local Toys R Us paints another picture. The ones that I wasn’t able to get codes for since they wasn’t in the display box at the time I bought them was: These are the codes of the ones I was able to get thus far:Ī06055ES Minion in grass skirt with 3 crabsĪ11055ES Eskimo Minion with Teddy Bear (Mystery Minion) I was only able to buy 9 bags of different codes since 3 of the codes was bought already. I did however buy each foil bag I could get my hands on from the wal-mart here. I had the same issue here in Illinois, u.s. (This is for foil bag and not the box ones) Now that you’ve seen the hi-res photos of every figure and know the codes to track them down, which Minions are you planning to hunt for (if any), blind box fans? Will you be amassing a Minion army this summer?

Mega blocs series#
Theoretically we’ll see that series this summer as well. As far as I can tell, those haven’t arrived anywhere in the world yet. And as for the Mega Bloks Minions Series 2 figures–I really have no idea. So while, say, the Napoleon Minion may have multiple possible code numbers, if you find a box with the code “ A02045ES“, you know it’s the Minion Napoleon figure.Īs of now, the Minions Series 3 Mega Bloks figures are just beginning to hit stores worldwide, so if you can’t find them in your area just yet–keep looking.

MEGA Brands typically add more codes for their blind boxes/blind bags once or twice during production, but the code numbers are always unique. Hopefully that won’t be the case with this duo. You’ll notice that this series includes two “special” Minions which are packed at one (or zero) blind boxes per case: a “Mystery Minion” (which is a Bob figure with Teddy Bear accessory) and an “Ultra Rare” Minion (which is a Napoleon Minion holding a sword).įrom my experience collecting Halo Mega Bloks blind bags, it’s typically not too hard finding the Ultra Rare figures, but the Mystery ones are often a pain to track down. MYSTERY MINION- Bob with Teddy Bear – A31035ES, A11045 Minion with Orlando Sign – A30035ES, A10045 Pirate Minion with Sword – A25035ES, A06045īeach Minion (one eye) with Crab and Shells – A26035ES, A07045Įgyptian Minion (one eye) with Cup on Head – A27035ES, A08045īeach Minion with Banana – A28035ES, A09045 ULTRA RARE MINION- Napoleon Soldier Minion with Sword – A02045ES, A14045ĭracula Minion with Cup – A03045ES, A15045Ĭro Minion (one eye) with Torch – A07045ES, A16045Ĭlown Minion in Dark Jacket – A24035ES, A03045

The codes for the Despicable Me Mega Bloks Minions Series 3 figures are as follows: and Justine picked up the newest-released set of Minions Blind Box figures and send them in to us to share with the world! Thanks, Glenn and Justine!! As you might have guessed, these codes make buying MEGA Bloks Minions blind box figures infinitely easier and less expensive. While LEGO forces collectors to use arcane methods like feeling up the bags and trying to decipher dots, every MEGA Brands blind box or blind bag has a code printed or embossed on the bag that clearly denotes which figure is inside. If there’s one area that collecting Mega Bloks blind bags (or sometimes boxes, depending on what country you’re in) is vastly superior to collecting LEGO Minifigures Series blind bags, it’s “ease of collecting”.
